Ramadan Goal Achiever

How It Works

This four-week program guides you through different aspects of personal and spiritual growth during Ramadan. Each week focuses on a specific area: relationships, worship, community involvement, and societal service. Complete the goals for each week to earn your Ramadan Goal Achiever Patch!

First Week of Ramadan – Improve Your Relationships

Improve your relationship with year parents then siblings, friends and your surrounding;

To be obedient and show kindness to parents has been enjoined in the Holy Quran in such a manner as to say that among the noble deeds, to obey parents, treat them respectfully and to show kindness to them is next to worshipping Almighty Allah.

"Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor."

— Surah Al-Isra (17:23)

Obeying parents and treating them with respect and affection is a great virtue and it serves as repentance for a person’s sins – and treat your relatives, friends and neighbors with due respect is recommended too.

Second Week of Ramadan – Strengthen Your Connection with Allah

Strengthen your spiritual connection through these practices:

  • Get closer by fasting more days than you did last year
  • Try praying your prayers on time
  • Do your best to pray extra or attend group prayer
  • Read and listen to the Qur’an Al-Kareem 5 or 10 minutes daily

Third Week of Ramadan – Get Involved in Your Community

Contact your local Mosque and Islamic organization to help them in different ways, for example:

  • Help in setting tables
  • Serving food
  • Cleaning
  • Helping a brother or sister in need
